Link to youtube video on making a scarf

This is a cool video on making your own rustic loom and handweaving fabric leftovers into a scarf or belt. You can certainly expand this to make whateve fabric size you want.

New Years Eve

Happy New Year! May the Grace of our Lord be with all.

This picture is actually at Oak Openings in Ohio. The Doe is in the backyard up north.

We were blessed with another 3-4 inches of snow last night. That is so when the New Year gets here everything will look clean.

Granny Nanny

Well Granny is going to try this one more time.
Happy New Year

This is another current favorite.........

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

This is the song that has prompted me to spend so much time trying to figure out how to get music links on here. I LOVE this song.......the beat and rythym and her voice! Hope you enjoy it as much.

The yearlings are so beautiful this time of the year.
Scrapping the ice was not bad. Trying to walk on it was the challenge.

This morning the sun was shinning and the ice on the trees, in the yards, on the cars was beautiful. Everything sparkled. The spectrums of light were gorgeous. And, now, the clouds are heavy like most Ohio winter time and the sparkle has left. The ice doesn't keep the mud and dirt along the roads from making everything look blah. So we hope for a glimpse of the sun tomorrow for that awesome picture that only the Lord can create.

Guessing game. This will tell you how old you are.
Who had pink mints on the coffee table?
Who wrote Aunt a letter before they could talk?
Who always had ribbon candy and thin mints for Christmas?
Who made strawberry pies every summer?
Do you remember stories told in the past?
Who got into the tampax box and spread them all over the front room floor?
Should I stop?

Bail Out Plan Explained

BAIL OUT PLAN EXPLAINED
Young Chuck in Montana bought a horse from a farmer for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the horse the next day. The next day he drove up and said, 'Sorry son, but I have some bad news, the horse died.'Chuck replied, 'Well, then just give me my money back.'The farmer said, 'Can't do that. I went and spent it already'Chuck said, 'Ok, then, just bring me the dead horse.'The farmer asked, 'What ya gonna do with him?Chuck said, 'I'm going to raffle him off.'The farmer said, 'You can't raffle off a dead horse!'Chuck said, 'Sure I can, Watch me. I just won't tell any body he's dead.'A month later, the farmer met up with Chuck and asked, 'What happened with that dead horse?'Chuck said, 'I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars a piece and made a profit of $898.'The farmer said, 'Didn't anyone complain?'Chuck said, 'Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back.' Chuck grew up and works now for the government. He was the one who figured out how to "bail us out".
